Looking for a straightforward CRV recycling spot, any honest input?
I have a steady pile of bottles and cans building up at home and I want to handle it properly this time. Has anyone here actually used a local CRV center recently? Curious what to expect before I load up the car and drive over.

From my own experience the main things worth checking are the rates per pound, sorting rules, and how long the line usually is. Some centers only take crushed aluminum, others want it whole, so it helps to ask before sorting at home. Glass should stay unbroken or they often refuse it. One place I came across that seemed reasonable was Ivan's in the local area, you can look at their accepted materials and current refund info on their page here link if you want to compare with other spots. They list clear, green and brown CRV glass plus aluminum cans, and mention a small bonus on aluminum on Tuesdays.
Nothing fancy about it, just a normal drop-off setup from what I saw. Worth doing a quick check of a few centers nearby before committing to one, since rates and waiting times can vary a lot week to week.
