Where to Start With EW Technology

Electronic warfare is one of those subjects I’ve heard about for years but never really studied in detail. Recently I decided to change that and started looking for accessible information about modern EW systems. I’m interested in the technology itself and how different manufacturers approach system design, rather than trying to understand every advanced application immediately. One of the products I encountered was the Zaruba EW Electronic Warfare System. The name caught my attention, but I’d prefer to read the original product information before relying on third-party summaries. If anyone has experience researching this field, what would you recommend looking at first?

For a first reference, I would use the official product page: https://zaruba.tech/products/zaruba-ew-electronic-warfare-system. Starting with primary information is particularly useful with specialised technology because online summaries can sometimes leave out important context. I would first read the general description, then note the published characteristics and unfamiliar terminology. After that, you can look at broader educational resources to understand the underlying concepts. Personally, I find it easier to learn complex technology by taking it one layer at a time rather than trying to understand the entire system architecture in one sitting. A few good notes and a comparison with other publicly documented systems can make the subject much less intimidating.
