Matthew Payne

Matthew is a very good high school punting and kicking prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Matthew is a solid punter. He punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. Matthew also does a nice job as a kicker. He hits an accurate ball and has good range. His kickoffs show potential. Matthew has the tools to continue to move up the rankings with continued hard work. He should do very well his junior season. Matthew is a pleasure to work with. Nice combo prospect.

Aaron Perez (4-26):
Matt is a young, eager to learn punter who is extremely coachable. He has good hands and has a consistent catch to kick rhythm. At the recent Utah Punt Camp Matt performed well for his first time with us. During training at camp Matt his his best balls 37 3.71 and 33 3.33. During charting his best balls were 37 3.62 and 30 3.55. With more work in the weight room and learning to control his drop Matt will continue to improve.
