Ashton Mercer

Ashton is an excellent high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Ashton does an outstanding job on field goal, a strength. He hits a pure, accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are solid. Ashton drives the ball into the endzone with good hang time. Also a more than capable punter. Ashton is a competitor who does well under pressure. Look for him to have a big senior season impressing college coaches. College football is in his future with continued hard work. He is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Strong combo prospect.

Aaron Perez (3-25):
Ashton has really come on as a punter and had a solid showing at the 2025 Spring Texas Punt Camp. He has a good frame and really uses his body well. Throughout the day Ashton hit multiple punts 45+ yards with 4.0+ seconds of hang time. He has good feet and is solid from catch to kick. During charting at camp his best ball was 41 4.06. I look forward to more work with Ashton in the future.
