Andrew Nielsen

Andrew is a fantastic high school punting and kicking prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. His punting is his major strength. He also has an ideal frame for a D1 level punter. Andrew punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. He averages 40+ yards with 4.5+ hang time. Also a very good kicker. Andrew does a nice job on field goal. He hits an accurate ball and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are solid. Andrew drives the ball 60-65 yards, with 3.75+ hang time. There is nice all around upside and potential here. I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Andrew is a very big, strong young punter with huge potential. He has good hands and takes coaching very well. At the recent Utah Punt Camp Andrew hit some good punts. During training at camp Andrew's best punts were 44 3.9, 46 4.22 and 44 4.31. During charting his best punts were 36 3.9 and 40 3.82. Once it clicks for Andrew on all fronts he will become one of the most competitive punters in this class.
