Player Review
Aaron Perez (4-24):Jacob continues to improve each time we see him. He is a big, athletic athlete with a very explosive leg. At the Spring CA Punt Camp Jacob really hit a good ball. During training Jacob hit punts of 45 4.98, 50 4.19 and 45 4.95. Jacob gets very good distance on his punts. During charting Jacob hit multiple punts 50+ yards with his best balls being 51 4.19, 55 3.82 and 44 3.98. Jacob has all the tools to be dominant in the years to come in this class.
Jacob is an excellent young high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Jacob does a nice job on field goal. He hits an accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. His best ball measures 65+ yards, with 3.75+ hang time. Also a developing punter. Jacob punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. A competitor who kicks with confidence. I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Jacob has outstanding potential. Look for him to compete with the best of the best at Vegas XLIV in May. He is a fine young man with a great attitude and work ethic. Strong combo prospect.
