Player Review

Dean is an excellent high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a powerful leg. Dean does a fantastic job on field goal. He gets the ball up well off the ground and has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. Dean is averaging 65+ yards, with 3.85+ hang time. He is very close to earning a 5-Star Rating. Also a developing punter. He shows he can hit a big ball and his consistency is improving in this area. He is a competitor that does well under pressure. Dean is a fine young man that is a great pleasure to work with. One of the hardest workers out there. I look forward to seeing what the future holds. He will be a great college player. Look for Dean to have a big summer impressing college coaches around the country. Strong prospect.

Aaron Perez 3-21:
Dean is a very explosive and powerful punter. Primarily a kicker, Dean recently got some work in with Coach Perez and improved tremendously in a short time. Dean is a two-step punter and during the training sessions hit several balls 4.75+ seconds of hangtime. Dean was able to also hit punts 45+ yards. He performed well with directional punting as well and hit some 45+ 4.5+ punts both directions. I think Dean will be a very solid combo player in this class and has the potential to compete with some top punters in his class as he continues to progress. I look forward to working with Dean again soon.
