Player Review

Evan is an excellent Junior College punting and kicking prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. Evan has an ideal frame for an FBS Level Punter. He shows that he can hit a D1 ball. There is nice potential and upside in this area of his game. Evan is also a great kicker. He does an outstanding job on field goal. Evan gets the ball up well off the ground and has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are college ready. Evan drives the ball into the end zone with 3.9+ hang time. A competitor that kicks with confidence. I really like his all around potential. Evan is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. He is going to be one of the very best JC Kickers in the country this coming Fall. Strong combo prospect.

Aaron Perez (5-21):
Evan has improved tremendously over the last several months. At 6-3 180 he has a great punting frame. At the CA PuntFactory camp, Evan had a solid showing. During the training phase of camp, Evan hit punts of 40 4.71, 45 4.8 and a massive 53 4.5 ball directional right. Evan has a nice, explosive swing and is extremely coachable. During charting at camp, Evan averaged 40 yards on six punts with his best ball being 41 4.33. I think Evan needs to continue to improve consistency in the release of his drop because when he does he has all the potential in the world. Evan can also continue to develop physically in the weight room. I look for Evan to keep improving and his focus and work ethich will make him a good college prospect over the next year.
