Player Review
Student Since: 2011
Latest Evaluation: 9/12
Jahnke continues to impress me with his form and the way he handles pressure. He has no fear when he is snapping. The bigger and stronger he gets, the better he will be with his snapping. Needs to make sure his release point is the same every single snap and that he leans back. Falling forward hurts his speed and accuracy. Great attitude. Moves well.
Jahnke is a very fluid Long Snapper with little to no wasted movement....hence, he is extremely accurate. Follows through well and uses his bottom half well for his size. To gain more speed, he needs to lower his butt a bit more and really let the ball rip. Like I said, doesn't have any wasted hitches, so he needs to trust his form. Does well under pressure and has the ability to snap the ball very quickly. Really like his attitude. Always smiling. 1/12
Did extremely well for his first camp. How well you ask? Well, Jahnke (pronounced yawn-kee) ended up winning the whole thing and earning a free admission to the 10th Annual National Event! Very, very accurate and obviously can handle pressure beyond well. His eyes can have a tendency to be a bit slow and that can affect his speed a tad. With more weight, strength and more use of his legs the ball will really increase in speed. Excellent person. Always smiling.
