Player Review
Student Since: 2011
Latest Evaluation: 9/12
Slight jump in the rankings for Julien. Kid is strong, moves well and shows major waves of brilliance. Needs to fine tune his form with some slow motion work to ensure it is the same snap every single time. Once it is, he will have a great deal more consistency. He can snap a bullet once means he can do it over and over again. Tons of potential. Great attitude.
Julien is a strong, flexible Long Snapper that has the ability to do some massive things in the world of Long Snapping. Needs to time it all up to ensure greatness. Legs are a bit off with the release of the ball. He is so strong that he gets away with it, but when they do get timed up, he will dominate. I know he can do it as I have seen him do it. Consistency with his speed will be it all for him. Great person and work ethic. 7/12
Julien continues to have one of the fastest snap times in the country WHEN he is on. Struggled a bit with the consistency of his snaps in Vegas. Seemed to trying and revert back to his old ways instead of trusting his form and dominating like he did in IL the month before. I know he can do it as I have seen him do it before. Now, the trick is going to be for him to completely fine tune his form AND trust it each and every snap. I know he can do it, does he? Watch him. 5/12
MASSIVE jump by Julien and VERY well deserved. The kid looked absolutely fantastic in Chicago. VERY impressive. Julien has been a Rubio Long Snapper for quite some time so I know where he has started from and I cant even begin to tell you how impressed I am with him at this stage in the game. Julien snaps a very quick ball that is on target. He has learned to control his body and make it work for him instead of against him. If he performs like this in Vegas, it would be very hard for me not to see him on the EVENT ELITE list. Keep a very close eye on him in Vegas. Now, lets see if he can handle it when people are expecting it. No more underdog role for Julien! 4/12
Julien did VERY well at the Vegas Event. It all definitely seems to be coming together. Very strong athlete that can whip the ball back there and snaps the ball hard. Needs to learn just to control it all now. At times, it would appear he is a little out of control. At those times, he just needs to stop and slow down the whole process. When he rushes through the set up, it messes up the end product: a perfect snap. Kid improves everytime I have seen him snap. Excellent attitude and works very hard. 1/12
Alex is doing an excellent job of controlling his amazing flexibility. Not overly large but he is very strong. He snaps the ball very quick and hard. Almost shocks you at times. Form is coming along very nicely and he is a hard worker. Spiral needs a little bit of work. Once he fully maintains his form and controls his body, he will move way up. Great attitude. Very close to being "there." 7/11
Alex continues to improve his snapping and his body. Kid is flat out built and uses his strength well. He has incredible flexibility and when you combine that with his strength, it can be a wicked combo. Needs to control it all and not over snap. Amazing follow through. Getting his form down pat will move him way up the ranks. Very solid attitude. Always smiling.
Alex has really transformed his body and his snapping. Very physically strong right now. Almost doesnt look like the same person from just a couple of months ago. Snapping the ball hard and accurate. Great flexibility. Needs to focus on form and legs. That will really pick up the speed of the ball. When he is relaxed, he is VERY good. Huge jump in the rankings after the Nike Spring Camp in IL
