Player Review
Student Since: 2011
Latest Evaluation: 4/12
LaMontagne continues to just be on fire. The kid may have not had a bad snap since December. Rolled into Vegas and was dominant. Came to GA and continued to be exquisite. It is almost shocking how smooth and confident he is right now. Love to watch him snap. Doesn't say much, but doesn't need. Ball is fast, tight and right on target. Flat out great person and Long Snapper that moves very well.
WOW. Just WOW! LaMontagne has literally transformed himself into a juggernaut of snapping out on the field. Always been good, just never great.....until now. He came to Vegas for the 10th Annual Event and was, easily, one of the most consistent and dominant Long Snappers in attendance. I would watch him over and over again just waiting for a bad snap...it never, ever happened. He was confident, had great form and was just rocketing the ball back there. Would love to see some more size on him, but his snapping is so good right now that it makes up for it. Very smooth ball to catch. Runs well. He was so on that his fifth snap in the filming session actually bounced out because there was no more room left in the net! All of his previous snaps were perfect and so was his final one. Amazing. Great kid. OFFER NOW
When LaMontagne snaps the ball as absolutely hard as he possibly can, he is outstanding. Form is darn near perfect, he is growing and he needs to realize these things. I want to see him rip the ball back there. I almost don't even care where it goes, as long as I see his full speed. LaMontagne is a very, very good Long Snapper with D1 speed when he wants it to be. Never misses. Some school is going to be very lucky with him next year. Excellent attitude and work ethic.
LaMontagne continues to impress with his demeanor and his Long Snapping. His demeanor is almost stoic and businesslike. He handles pressure very well and doesn't get rattled. His snapping is very solid with nice, tight hard snaps that are on the money. Snaps the ball through the punter and not just at him. Very impressed with his work ethic and willingness to change to better his snapping. Excellent attitude.
Daniel did extremely well for his first Rubio Long Snapping camp. Ball is very quick and fast. He explodes when he snaps. Form is exceptional. Needs to focus on really leaning back. He tends to fall forward a bit which causes a slight bit of inaccuracy and makes blocking a tad more difficult. Very solid overall Long Snapper that handles pressure well. Look forward to seeing him again. Very hard worker.
