After receiving over a hundred limerick entries for the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Event contest, I have arrived at the winner! It was a very hard decision and took countless hours, but with no further ado, the winner of the contest is................Forrest Stevens (CA, 2012)!!!! Here is his entry:

There once was a snapper who wore red
And never snapped over the holder's head
He dreamed of being the greatest snapper
While sitting on the crapper
In the locker room of the team he led!

Trust me when I tell you this was a VERY hard contest to judge. Many were very close, but it came down to who followed the rules the best:

• Had to be a Limerick. THIS is what a limerick is for all that need a bit of guidance.
• The limerick had to be ABOUT Long Snapping
• Humor played a MAJOR role in my decision. There were a ton of them that were simply OUTSTANDING limericks about Long Snapping, BUT did not have humor. This killed a lot of the entries. Seriously, there were some amazing limericks about Long Snapping and I was very proud of them and those that wrote them, but they simly were null and void of humor.
